ABOUT
David Hywel Baynes is best known as as 'X' in Season 1 of "EXTRAPOLATIONS (AppleTV).
​
David was born and raised in London, England, where he trained at both LAMDA and Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art (now Royal Central School of Speech and Drama). He serves as Artistic Associate of Iris Theatre Company in Covent Garden, where he has appeared as the title roles in both MACBETH and RICHARD III, the latter for which he received an Off West End Nomination for Best Actor, as well as a turn as 'Brutus' in JULIUS CAESAR.

David was one of the original members of Passion in Practice, for whom he played The Dauphin at Shakespeare's Globe during their Read Not Dead production of HENRY V.

In 2010, David relocated to New York City, where he's appeared on television shows like "Gotham," "The Blacklist" and "Main Justice." During his time in NYC he has further developed his Shakespearean acting technique playing a host of Shakespeare's most famous roles.
